Are you more active than you realize?

Many of us think of exercise as something we do in the gym. We consider our physical activity as being the workouts that we consciously do to stay fit. However, a lot of us don’t realize that our everyday activities can be classified as exercise.

Gardening, housework, carrying groceries, walking up the stairs, all of these activities, plus many more, are exercising our bodies, even if we don’t realize it. In fact,  you might actually be more active than you think. Consider all the ways you are lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, lunging and moving throughout the day. Celebrate what you are already accomplishing!
