For how long should I exercise each day?

The World Health Organization recommends that adults perform a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise per week, spreading this total amount of exercise into several shorter sessions across the week.

You can perform workouts of any length of time, depending on your personal preferences and schedule. You could aim for daily 10-minute sessions, multiple 30-minute workouts, or a few hour-long exercise sessions each week. You might want to try a few different timeframes to see which one you prefer or vary your workout lengths to keep your routine more interesting. Try to include some form of physical activity each day to support your overall health and wellbeing. This could take the form of a walk or gentle stretching on days you are not actively exercising.

In addition to aerobic exercise, it is important to include strength training (2x per week) and stretching (2-3x per week)  into your weekly routine.
