How Can I Tell If I’m Mildly Dehydrated?

Dehydration occurs when your body isn’t getting enough water. Your cells need water to respire and when you’re not drinking enough, it can cause things to slow down and stop functioning optimally in your body.

The symptoms of mild dehydration are increased thirst, dark urine, headaches, dizziness, and lethargy. If you’re experiencing all of these symptoms or a combination of them, you’re probably dehydrated.

If this is the case, make a conscious effort to drink more water throughout the day. Keep a bottle of fresh, cool water by your side at all times so that you can take a sip every now and then. This will prevent mild dehydration and keep your body and brain functioning optimally.
