How Often Should I Change My Toothbrush?
Replacing your toothbrush is something that you might easily forget to do. When life gets busy, it’s not the first thing on our minds. We get up each morning, brush our teeth, and get ready for work without a second thought about how long we’ve been using the same toothbrush.
According to the American Dental association, we should aim to replace our toothbrushes every three to four months. If your toothbrush gets frayed or damaged, you should replace it as soon as possible.
If it's been a while since you last got a new toothbrush, now is the time to do so! Even if your toothbrush doesn’t appear to be damaged, regular replacements are important. Over time common bacteria can build up on your toothbrush, making it ineffective at properly cleaning your teeth.
