How to build a high-protein yogurt bowl

Adequate protein intake helps us feel satiated and the amino-acids in proteins are used to build and repair our muscles.  Kick start your day with a high-protein yogurt bowl.  Start with a base of plain Greek yogurt or skyr (Icelandic yogurt) which are higher in yogurt than regular yogurt. You can then enhance your protein intake by adding one of the following:

  • Mix in a scoop of protein powder
  • Stir in a tablespoon or two of nut butter
  • Add a tablespoon of ground chia
  • Enjoy it with muesli or granola
  • Sprinkle with chopped nuts or seeds
