How To Do Mountain Climbers
Mountain climbers are a great core exercise that you can include in your exercise routines.
You can use them as part of a warmup, an exercise in your high-intensity interval training routine, or as a stand-alone exercise in an abdominal workout.
To correctly perform mountain climbers, follow the steps below:
- Place an exercise mat somewhere where you can train undisturbed
- Get into a push-up position with your arms straight, and your palms on the floor. Your legs should be fully extended out behind you, resting on your toes
- Bend one leg and bring the knee up toward the chest
- Return the leg back to the floor and repeat with the other side
- Repeat this movement for a certain number of reps or for a set period of time
