How to Fit in Exercise With Kids Around

When you have kids, it can be difficult to find time to work out. You’re busy getting them ready for school in the morning. Then, as soon as you are home from a long day at work, you’re spending time with them in the house or taking them to their sports games or dance classes.

So, where does exercise fit into your schedule?

When it comes to working out as a parent, you have to be strategic with your time. Figure out where you have a spare hour each day in your week.

Your spare hour might be in the early mornings before your kids are awake or it might be in the late evenings when they’re in bed.

You can also split your workouts into short time slots. For example, do a quick HIIT workout before getting your kids ready for school, then a short run just after work.

Another great way to exercise with kids is getting them involved. Take a walk around the local park or go to the pool and bring them along!
