How to make water more interesting to drink

Water is essential for the human body. Everybody needs to consume water on a daily basis to maintain great health and wellbeing.  However, there are times when water seems a little - boring.  If you’ve got a sweet tooth or you’re somebody who enjoys intense flavors, reaching for a glass of water might be a last resort.

Without adequate water intake, your body won’t be able to function optimally.  You might even experience some of the negative symptoms of minor dehydration, including dizziness, fatigue, and lack of concentration.

If you’re somebody who struggles to drink water, here are some top tips to help you stay hydrated throughout the day:

  • Add lemon, cucumber slices, berries or mint to your water to give it some extra flavor
  • Drink sparkling water instead of still water
  • Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up, so you don’t have the chance to put it off later in the day
