What do new weight lifters forget to do?

Even the most advanced weight lifters can make mistakes. No matter how many years they have under their belts, they can still slip up and perform an exercise with imperfect form.

For new weight lifters, the risk of errors and mistakes is even higher. Strength training requires proper form and technique, both of which can be difficult to perfect.

One of the most common mistakes that many new weight lifters make is forgetting to breathe. Although breathing is second nature to humans, it’s easy to forget about it when heavy weights are involved.

Many people hold their breath when concentrating on an exercise or trying to push heavy weights around. If this sounds like something that you’re guilty of doing, make sure that you remember to breathe during exercise. Exhale as you lift the weight and inhale as you lower it.  Proper breathing technique can help you stay in control when lifting weights and ensure you remain oxygenated.
