What is the Superman exercise?

The Superman exercise is a bodyweight exercise that targets the muscles in the lower back, as well as the glutes and hamstrings. It's named after the well-known superhero's flying pose, as it emulates the position of a superhero in the air.

This exercise requires you to lie face down on the floor and extend your arms and legs straight in front of you and behind you, respectively.  The goal is to slightly lift all four limbs off the ground simultaneously to work your back and legs, strengthening the muscles and improving stability. You can also modify this exercise by lifting only your arms, or lifting one arm and the opposite leg.
