It’s not always easy finding time to read, but even a quick 15 minute read each evening has benefits. If you want to start reading more, here are three top tips.
- Read what you enjoy. This one is fairly obvious, but if you enjoy what you’re reading, you’re more likely to grab your book regularly. Anything goes - from travel books to sci-fi novels to memoirs!
- Join a reading challenge or book club. Reading with other people or taking on an exciting challenge will motivate you to keep on reading and try new books.
- Swap some of your online time for reading. As much as you probably want to spend your evening scrolling social media, turn your phone off a couple of hours before bedtime and grab a book. Reading before you head to bed can help promote a better night’s sleep.
