One of the best ways to give yourself this much-needed break is by taking a walk. Simply taking a short walk around the block or heading to the local park can be extremely beneficial in calming your mind.

Surrounding yourself with nature for at least 120 minutes each week 120 minutes each week  can be great for your mental health at any time, but especially when you’re feeling overwhelmed. The fresh air and the sounds of nature can quieten your negative thoughts and allow you to think more clearly.
