Kids and healthy eating - try this tip

Getting children to eat healthily is hard enough in and of itself, let alone getting them excited about it. Luckily, there are lots of different things that you can do as a parent to get your kids more interested in healthy eating and all of its benefits.

One tip is to get them involved in the cooking process when you’re making dinner. Let them stir the soup pot, chop the veggies, or serve up the finished dish on the plates. Allowing them to take part in the cooking each night keeps them engaged and provides you with the perfect opportunity to teach them about nutrition and its importance and act as a role model.

Remember to show your enthusiasm for healthy eating.  Your interest and positive energy will rub off on your kids!
