New exercise goal? Try this one tip

Do you have a new exercise goal? If so, we’ve got one top tip for you.

When it comes to reaching your exercise goals, one of the best things you can do to stay on track is to write down what your goal is AND why it is important to you. Whether you note it on your phone or physically write it out on paper, you’ll be able to visualize your goal more easily when it’s written down. Writing it down also helps to hold you accountable as you have written down a commitment to yourself.  Furthermore, when we know ‘why’ we are doing something it is easier to stay motivated as we have tied the goal to something we value.

You can look at the paper or your phone every day to remind yourself of the goal that you’ve set and why it matters to you Ideally you can also write down some actionable steps that you’re going to take in order to reach this new goal.
