Teriyaki salmon [Recipe]

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon filets
  • 4 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, rice vinegar, and minced garlic to make the teriyaki sauce.
  • Place the salmon filets on the prepared baking sheet and brush them generously with the teriyaki sauce, reserving some for later.
  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until it is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
