Ingredients
- 2 salmon filets
- 4 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, rice vinegar, and minced garlic to make the teriyaki sauce.
- Place the salmon filets on the prepared baking sheet and brush them generously with the teriyaki sauce, reserving some for later.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until it is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
